I just installed my unit but I can't see it on the map.

First Check the LED's on the unit and make sure that they are all lighting up. Make sure that you have had some type of activity(Ignition On and OFF, Driving, PTO). It is recommend that you drive the vehicle for 5 - 10 minutes after install to insure GPS lock.

My unit stopped responding, what do i do?

Check installation on the unit. The unit will not function properly if there is something out of place. Make sure all wires from the harness are still connected. Check antenna connections and placement. Check the LED's for status of unit and make sure all LED's are lit(check Test Unit page for LED status). If installation seems to be correct and all LED's are ok then take out power harness of unit and leave out for 10 seconds, reinsert harness to finish restart of unit and wait for connectivity. Once all LED's are lit, create events from unit by turning ignition ON/OFF and driving. Check data Here or log into your account. Verify also that your unit has moved since the last event you see. If the vehicle has had no activity then no new information will be available.

I do not see any stop/ignition records or only see driving records.

Stop records are generated after the ignition is off. If there are no ignition records in your reports or mapping then your ignition wire on your unit may no be installed properly. Double check your ignition wire that it is on a true ignition source and not an accessory wire on the vehicle. This may also be the cause of seeing only driving events on your reports. If you know the vehicle is stopped but still looks like it is driving on your map then double check your reports for ignition records and double check the ignition wire install.

Why do i see my vehicle a block away?

If you happen to see your vehicle away from the actual location that it is then it is recommend that you check the placement of the GPS antenna. If it is not placed in a good location then it can not have a lock on multiple satellites. Make sure that it is horizontally flat and there is not metal between the antenna and the sky.

Why is there random events in early times of the day?

When there are random events in earlier times of the day it is usually caused because of erroneous reporting. Erroneous reporting is caused because of the GPS antenna trying to lock on to the GPS satellites. This is usually cause by parking the vehicle inside a structure, under a shed or in a parking lot. The unit while trying to look for a GPS lock will send out random events in different location then where its at. This is normal if the vehicle is parked in these type of locations.
